  • I am an Indian and I want to say louder and clear: I LOVE UAE. This place is definitely my home to me. I don’t want to live anywhere in the world. I mean yes, we dreams I wish I lived in Europe/ US/ Far East, but then you quickly realize that you cannot live the way we live here in Dubai or Abu Dhabi anywhere else in the world. I love UAE like my family. UAE is one of the most successful countries experiments in unity in the modern world. The main fact is that of the family, with the president referred to as a FATHER. The colors of the national flag are simply indicates the national integrity. The other cultural symbols which impressed me are the falcon, camel, Arabian horse, pearling boat, coffeepot, and date palm. They are used to invoke a historical community that survived harsh conditions and now enjoys the benefits of unity and prosperity. The UAE shares significant aspects of its culture with neighboring Arab countries and the larger Arab culture. UAE Nationals (Emiratis) are known for their hospitality; they feel honored when receiving guests and socializing with friends and relatives. Guests are welcomed with coffee and fresh dates.
I LOVE UAE for: The Weather, The Beaches (some of the best beaches in the world are here). How easy life is here, you can't get a life this easy anywhere in the world! My job and the people I work with me. The Corniche in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaima and Fujairah( The best free beach EVER!). I live in the city that has the tallest building in the world. Usually get priority service and guidelines at most governmental offices. The restaurants in Dubai......yummy! Thursdays and Fridays (Weekends) busy with pool/beach, restaurants, favorite movies and long drives. The shopping...not I shop a lot but the shopping options(Malls flooded with Brands) in the city. The long drives to Al Ain, Fujairah, Hatta, Musandam and Yas Island. How close I am here to Europeans, Asians, Africans, and the rest of the World. There's more I love...there's definitely more......!!! Ismayil Thankayathil
  • Really i am proud about that i am one of the resident of UAE. UAE is home for multi ethinic cultures. UAE Government treat its people as their child as listen their needs & fulfill immediately. What one expatriate can get rights in foreign contries, here they are getting without any problem. Even UAE National loves their expatriates and treat them in honest way. Everyone provided with equal opportunity. As i am an System Analyst & S/W Engineer, enjoying UAE multi culture and living peacefully and in protect environment which we cannot see in this region. • I wont be able to express my 12 years long story in words, I love this tag line "UAE is My Home" i.e. expressing my love for my Home "UAE" everything I achieved in more than a decade and an emotional attachment and affection towards UAE could be felt strongly when you are travelling and staying out even across in other GCC Countries and the moment you land back the greeting message from Etisalat makes the joy double with words "Welcome back Home" and it is a home the whole UAE, concept of home is where you are with your loved ones feeling safe and comfortable and the same is applicable for UAE you will not feel strange / afraid even in the middle of night in any part of the UAE. Praying always : May ALLAH Bless our Home with everything. "Long Live UAE & the Wise Leadership" Syed Shiraz Ali

  • My home sweet home United Arab Emirates is turning 40. Last year my mother turned 40 & we happily celebrated the occasion. Now my dear nation is turning 40 & I’m much exited about the same as I love UAE much like my mother where I live with my family. I was born in India but I don’t miss my homeland at all. UAE has given me everything; education, fun and identity. It is so well systematic & organized. Wide Roads, High rise buildings, Lots of amusement, picnic & water Parks, Clean & beautiful Beaches. Big & lively malls & luxurious hotels. Unique desert parks & exciting desert safari. The rich heritage of UAE is clearly shown in various museums. All this fascinates me & make my eyes wider with wonder. How can I forget the tallest building in the world the Burj Khalifa is in my own country and exciting ride of Dubai metro. Still I remember my Eid holidays that I spent in beautiful Yas Island. As you explore more you fall in love more. There is a surprise awaiting you every new day.
I congratulate and thank His highness Sheikh Khalifa bin zayed al nahyan president of UAE & ruler of abu dhabi, His highness Sheikh mohammad bin Rashid al makhtoum prime misister of UAE & ruler of Dubai and rulers of other emirates of UAE on 40th anniversary. They are so concerned about our welfare, environment, health, education, safety, traffic rules & regulations, Disclipine, housing, food quality & charity that they keep on organising campaigns & we get the opportunity to participate & give our best contribution. All the best UAE, my home. Keep up the good work going. I am proud to be in UAE. Rohan Kapur | video

  • Dear each & every person who takes living in The UAE for granted...... 1983, the year I was born in this new city we called home. Sheik Rashid (OBONA:our father) as we used to call him as kids was the ruler of what know is a megatropolis emirate, which is as famous & elegant as its centuries years old predecessors (New York, London, Paris Rome etc.) called dubai. I vividly remember that it wasnt always like this, It was a new city where everyone was busy finishing the infrastructure back then......cement mixer trucks rushing , dubai free zone was a global gossip a new culture was being born a multi-culture that you can almost smell in that early winter morning mist, I of all should know being born of sudanees parents & never feelling different than the rest ...Dubai Dubai Dubai ! I can go on for ages talking about how beutiful and great it is but my main point is that there are somethings in the emirates that its citezens experience on a day to day basis but never see , somethings that are so great , so big that they are like a mountain thats scale is only visible to the far far away.....My home "the emirates" has A. The right start B.People who love the ground they stand on D. The ligitimacy of that nation engraved in their hearts & E.Men who will preserve such an order who I will always cherish . These are the invisible backgrounds that supported me & everyone in the UAE to go on with their life working hard , playing hard & care free . Rulers working so hard that it goes unnoticed like a great magician doing an act where the function is concealed yet the audience applaud the product. As for now I live far far away gazing at the horizon wondering when will I return to the mountain I called home and give my son the experience that made me the man I'm today. Waking every other day thinking for a milisecond that I was back in karama. Just remember UAE citizens that in the emirates sky is the limit and the only obstacles infront of you are your own weaknesses. كل عام و الإمارات بخير.Ahmed Suliman
